I don’t appreciate that the movie was created in CGI rather than the original animation style. The story line and character personalities are altered in a non-cannon way. I dont like that it’s basically a musical now, nobody ever sang in the show. I really didn’t appreciate the lack of attention to fine detail and keeping the characters original to their creation. Like they did Alya dirty, got her mole lookin like a pimple😑. But no let me be real. The movie is okay, but as a fan of ladybug I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed. The mannerisms portrayed lowkey go against the grain of the storyline and the character build in the show. Like Char Nior was a gentleman and basically in love with ladybug but in the movie, he’s like a cocky version obsessed with the fact that ladybug is his “side-kick” rather than his partner. They represented Marrinette’s character in a lousy fashion. She has no confidence and no determination to try or even attempt to succeed or stand up for herself Respectfully, it’s a no for me. And sereously, the musical approach was very cringy to me…it feels very “Disneyafied.”
