Not scary not even all that tense. I was bored.

After rewatching this movie, I'm amazed at how bonkers it is. At the same time there is a slow burn element, where you try to figure out what the hell is going on.

It's a beautiful movie. Enjoy the scenery, ponder relationships. And try to figure out why trust is given to some but not others.

This movie is one of my new favorites. I went in pretty cold, it's on the list of 50 horror movies you haven't seen, spoiler I have seen several of the movies on the list including Black Christmas, which is one of the few movies I've seen multiple times. Slumber Party Massacre has the same energy to me, with the exception of the nudity. The character's are written very well, they are engaging in festivities, crazed stalker, the police are no help... I highly recommend this movie to people who want to watch horror with a story and character's that have personalities.

The last half was very good. Unfortunately there is almost an hour to go through to get there.

This is not a comedy horror. For it to be a comedy horror it would have to have some comedy in it. Texas Chainsaw Massacre had more comedy in it than this, so probably watch that instead. They tried the slow burn approach I guess, but it's more slow and dull. I'll give them props though for some how fitting a 20 minute short into an 81 minute feature film.

The Lost Boys is perfect. Everything from the sound track to set designs and not a single bad actor.

This is my new favorite "bad" movie.
