This book is an excellent entry into the sci-fi fantasy genre of literature. If you're a fan of the monomyth as explained by Joseph Campbell you will enjoy this tale that is told through multiple points of view. Malachi Bines has not fully solidified his style as an writer but as a debut novel "Trial of the Omegas" is a great foundation to what will inevitably be a hit series.
