this movie was horrible. seen better acting in my middle school theatre 2 class. honestly don’t spend your money. just read the book. the only good actress was queen latifah. the kids were so annoying. girl was super disrespectful to her mother. this movie had no positive role models. dennis quaid could’ve been better too or just shouldnt of been in it at all. i left this movie feeling tired, drained, and depressed. not entertaining or uplifting in anyway. was very cheesy and not funny at all. this shouldn’t even of been made into a movie. so unless u like cheap annoying hallmark movies, DONT WATCH THIS MOVIE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST WATCH SPIDER-MAN OR SOMETHING INSTEAD.
