Amazing writer and amazing story about survival, love, and the planet. The Road might be laborious for those who lack the ability to think critically, or those that have little understanding of life, and the good and evil that surrounds us which keeps us moving forward. I only wish this book was my assignment in high school. There is more here than what is presented in the story, so much more. At times, it will be depressing, repetitive even, as such with life. There in the end is new hope for a new beginning, sprung from the ashes of something grand that will forever be lost with no hope of its return to the place it was before. Repetitive yet always changing, that is one thing you can always count on in this living world. What will you learn from it?
