If the whole championship comes down to the last cake, why have bakers spend weeks baking? Judges note every baker's work. Why not use them to decide which baker wins? Use the last cake attempt but also the culmination wins from the whole championship; that way, the best baker wins.

This book is a good read, beautifully written and real; powerful. I journeyed through the pages; at the end of my journey, I was disappointed. I needed an Epilogue.

A fine read. It didn't grab me the way Handmaid's Tale did but I still couldn't put It down. I kept waiting for an eye witness account of Gilead's fall ...for twenty years! I believe Atwood purposely omitted it; still I wouldn't have missed this read.
