I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I am a huge fan of Alec Baldwin's movies (especially 1994s The Shadow). He does an excellent job portraying a blind man with a tortured past. Like his other movies, he seems to dive in and really learns the character he plays to perfection. Every little nuance...he's an amazing actor. Demi Moore gives an excellent performance as well. I didn't really like Dylan McDermott's role. The supporting cast were terrific! Especially the actors who played Gavin and Ella. The plot line overall was ok, though I thought could've been better in some spots. Like what Bill was starting to say to his wife during the flashback scene right before the car accident. The ending was just what I was hoping for. But I wish there was more romance between Bill and Suzanne. All in all...a GREAT movie!!! Didn't even know it existed. So glad I stumbled across the trailer for it on YouTube. A very underrated movie in my opinion.
