I do not buy ea games except for Madden. Now I will buy no ea games. DONT BUY MADDEN. Madden is so bad it makes me like actual football less. The difficulty is garbage. All-pro is a joke. To compensate, All-Madden makes the ai ungodly. The computer does not compensate by improving play calling, or making on field adjustments but seemingly by increasing the stats of individual ai players, while decreasing those of user players. AI on all madden nearly always breaks the first tackle. They also almost always make the tackle. If you have an all star running back like Christian Mcaffrey your lucky if an open field juke would fool Ben Roethlisberger. Linebackers become the red right hand of god knocking every pass across the middle out of receivers hands if you are lucky enough not to have them pick it off. Defensive backs meanwhile could beat Usain Bolt 99/100 times, defeating any adjustment you make presnap by instantly speeding up once the ball is thrown. Out routes do not exist. On offense AI players are ludicrously fast and receivers almost never drop balls. You could have a formation with 11 linebackers all running zones in the middle playing underneath the receivers and they would still catch every slant drag and hook. Quarterbacks meanwhile have the processing speed of a supercomputer. IN a fantasy draft Franchise where I won the Super Bowl and had the best defense I never had an ai QB on all madden throw for less than 85% completion. “But Matt you won the super bowl?” Only because madden is full of arcadey tricks now with the so called “superstar factors Bobby Wagner had 2 forced fumbles a game. Even MUT has been reduced to nothing because the arcade style of madden reduces the benefit of having good cards and creating a team with good chemistry. One good feature of this years madden is the yard which is designed to be an arcade style skeleton drill. It’s good because it runs just like everything else in the game, but you don’t expect it to resemble actual football, where as in the other modes you do. If I could say one thing to the developers of madden it would be “I’m sorry”. I’m sorry because ea probably gives them 5 weeks to put a madden together every year. But on the bright side 2k is getting an nfl licensed game so that’s cool.
