I read Elisa Schaefer's review and decided to skip this one. As someone just out of an abusive relationship, revenge isn't the answer. Making the subject matter a comedy isn't the answer. (It's bad enough watching commercials and news reports of tortured and abused animals let alone Hollywood believing it would be a good premise for a movie). Shouldn't Will Ferrell have realized that it's time for him to evolve beyond the idiot roles and take parts that offer take and depth as most comedic actors do... Well, those that can actually act. Go read or see The Color Purple to find the answer to cure domestic abuse.
