It's an okay play, still many of the same parts I disliked from BOTW (low durability of most weapons and bows meaning a constant grind, constant need for cooking until end game clothing, nowhere near enough inventory space as a given) with added frustrations...
Cool I can add items to my bow, after an hour in youre spending either unimaginable amounts of time scrolling a long list or just using the same 3 items.
Cool I can attatch anything to my weapon / shield, increases durability and adds effects, oh I constant still have broken weaponry.
Cool I'm forced to cook what feels like every second shrine when I want to beat some enemies into the ground not cook for 20 minutes.
The main let down, I just cany seem to get on with the crafting, building and play elements. Still miss an initial linear story until you've done the inevitable reunion of power, wisdom and courage. Open play instantly but I ended up doing all the wrong things for a long time, not an issue for those that can focus or enjoy animal crossing levels of grind to watch your favourite item burn/destroy/be thrown off a cliff.
I'd still say the storyline is good, I can see why people love it but it's further away from the Zeldas I loved growing up.
