I love this game... this series... this franchise. the vibe, the feel, the atmosphere. the game is very obviously resident evil coded, yet feels as something completely new. the game has it's issues, such as the camera work and some of the controls. the difficulty is just perfect as it is such a challenge, yet compels you to complete each mission. Devil May Cry 1 is a game I often come back to, as the sheer nostalgia I get from playing this game rushes over me every time I boot the game up, although maybe not as strong as other later games within the franchise, is still a game I hold very near and dear to my heart.
