Popped was poorly written. The dialogue was amateurish and unbelievable....real people do not speak this way. The characters were unlikable and uninteresting. I kept reading, hoping it would get better. (I am one of those readers who hate to give up on a book.) Unfortunately, that never happened. I normally read an author and purchase more of his/her books, but I won't do that in this case. If you like storylines that end with pointless one-liners and plots that are tied up with a silly bow, then this book is for you. Otherwise, steer clear of this author. After almost 400 pages of fluff, I feel as if I need to brush my teeth!
