Been playing EA NHL games since the 90's. They've been getting worse by the year as EA gets lazier and gears the entire release towards making money off microtransactions. As an offline player who enjoys franchise mode and BAP, I usually just ignore the microtransaction parts and live in my own little world. This year however I genuinely can not even play the game. Between the terrible on ice movement, the constant flashing graphics on the boards. The glitches and bugs are horrible. The touch pass system is horrible. The pressure system completely ruins gameplay. And the flex goal celebrations are so cringe and unwanted they make me pray every game ends 0-0. Hands down the worst sports title ever released across any platform of any sport. I wish I hadn't bought this on playstation so that I could refund it. I will never buy another NHL title going forward as this is simply unacceptable and EA shows no signs of fixing anything that tops the complaint list.
