Compelling story, but over-hyped. I expected an art lover with a fascinating thief psyche. What I got was an art lover accompanied by a lookout, and skilled with a Swiss army knife, until his luck ran out.

An excellent piece of nonfiction. Learned a ton. Hope America does also. Sand/oil mixtures, containment strategies, human drama and loss, and the courage of firefighters are well illustrated. That money and profits drive responses to fighting fires is very sad.

A very good read. More subplots and tunnels than a Dan Brown story, reading this book is time well spent. Sent me to my dictionary several times, but that's fine. Author Abrams should be proud: Avery Keene is believable, and her mom Rita is as well.

An amazing nonfiction story, mostly because of the backstory. You can't make it up; you can only tell it. Nobody better than M. Lewis to do that. It's very sad when science and politics get so mixed up that both lose their way. Hopefully The Premonition gives us pause to work toward truth and the courage to lead with it.

Hanks and cast are terrific. The whole story line moves you. Better than the book, which was also really good. We all know an Otto, and the people in his world. They keep us going.
