I liked how it focused on their relationship more. The action scenes were dope and the Smith's relationship was interesting. Donald and Maya's acting was superb.

It sucked. Hard. It has been a long time since I cringed reading a book as I did reading this one. 2d characters, basic storyline, uneven pacing, dialogue that will make you cringe hard. It's two stars not one because it's not easy to write a book.

I like the book...it's really ok, just the fact that we see things only from violet's POV,that's tiring. It's very easy to get sick of her drooling over every single dude....or maybe girls really are like that IDK. Normally I would just skip past the drooling but it happens in every other page. Book two is even worse if you can believe. I'm stuck in chapter two of book 2☹️

Cheesy dialogue, childish fight scenes, horrible cinematography all present and accounted for on this movie. I kept alternating between cringing and cussing out the movie.😔
