If you would like to be immersed in death and deadly thoughts, do definitely see this film. Bleak, doom and gloom all the way. If the director were stylish and used the camera inventively, only maybe then one could try to endure it a little. I actually felt sorry for the actors. Gravedigging, stealing dead people’s belongings.. why? What did she (director) want to say? All dark and hidden, no hope, no glimps of sunshine. Even the kissing scene near the end is very unconvincing and deadly. One would think that ‘Love’ would save them, but it apparently cannot. We are not supposed to enjoy this world, we are all trapped, no redemption. Is that her message? Ugly and tasteless.
