Extremely repetitive towards the “end” (read: final third of the book) The first half I really enjoyed, great pace, gripping story, mystery and some horror. Then the author includes climax after climax after climax. Almost 10 times I thought we were getting somewhere then BAM back to the endless cycle. Perhaps he’s trying to illustrate what it’s like being in the endless circle of hell... clever, but doesn’t make for an enjoyable, gripping read. I’d recommend this book if you have a tonne of patience.
