Simple breakdown gameplay 9.5/10 graphics 6.5/10. Very fun new take on pokemon. By far the most interactive pokemon game yet. Despite the graphics this game really was good about putting life and personality into the pokemon. The new catching system should stay for all pokemon games in the future. Honestly the fantasy pokemon game would be Legends Arcues game mechanics, Snap graphics, into a traditional style playthrough. That would easily be a 10/10 game. Although I wouldn't mind every gen origin story like this one. I do like a research game like this as well. Overall an 8.5/10 game. Love the gameplay just got to work on the environment graphics...Gameplay for me over powered any issues I had with the graphics though. They are not terrible terrible. Just meh...the pokemon still look good though.
