Not an art movie, but well acted, with a clear topic, and no useless drama. I found not enough was expressed concerning patients' view when it came to the new system put in place. Patients or patients' whanau? What about religious beliefs? What about the variety of medicine existing nowadays? An interesting watch for sure!

Awesome movie, such an insight into the whys of the resurgence of nazi values.

As a thriller, it kind of works. If you’re in for Huppert’s performance as a psychopath, it kind of works. For Chloe’s too, she’s a promising actress. However... I didn’t enjoy this movie. Only one strong female character, the blonde friend Erika. Frances is too often asking for help and delving into her emotional ‘weakness’ (in itself, I already disliked the idea that being in your emotions was a weakness!). If the deep down message is to raise awareness about how mad and sick humans can become when drowned in loneliness, this doesn’t work.. For the fear of one human is enough to drive you to loneliness for the rest of your life! Slightly boring, I stayed until the end though.. just for some acting performances. Oooops...really enjoyed New York being cycled!
