I can see why this game was not on Steam, because everyone would be demanding for a refund. Wild how people pay 70-100 bucks for this "hockey immersion". I honestly thought NHL 24 was the worst iteration of the Chel series but, boy was I wrong. EA, was like, "Hold my beer." and made this game even more unplayable. I play this game on the weekends with my buddies, all of whom I played actual ice hockey with. This game does not reward good cycling, outlet passes, looks, body position, etc. instead you just let any beach ball go in. The menus at EASHL are constantly bugged, the player emblems are never accurate and it constantly flickers. The dumpster fire that is known as Grudge Match is so BAD. We never even played these teams before and suddenly we're in a grudge match. The opposing always gets an offensive boost while we get a defensive boost. So pretty much they just score endless bobo goals and we just chalk up the L. As always the AI is an absolute tub of broken code and bad decisions. Continuously they never play their position. They think they're a forward and just continuously ruin plays and just let the other teams score. I'm sure with the "November Patch" everything will be fixed, but then in turn just make the game even that much more unplayable. EA continuously caters to the content creators that get the free codes, the free merch, HUT packs, etc. You are just punishing the true hockey players/fans who enjoy the sport and shell out their hard earned money for this "Hockey Game". EA Sports should stand for Extremely Abysmal Sports. Long loading screens, inability to confirm your loadout so you have to go to the main menu, AI with the intelligence of a can of tuna, and worthless currency (btw you inflated the prices) used to be 100-250 Chel coins for an item now it's upwards from 800-1500. Pressure system just needs to be removed completely. If it take you guys to have to take a year off to rebuild this game to make it playable/enjoyable, I would be fine with that, knowing you did more than just update rosters and threw a 25 at the end of the game.

You want a divorce? Buy this for your spouse. You want to end a friendship? Buy this for your buddy. This game is an abomination of “hockey”. EA once again managed to make the game even more unplayable to hockey fans/players alike. AI has the IQ equivalency of a can of tuna. They never play their respective positions, make bobo passes, and continuosly cost us games. Then you have the cheetoh dust sweato’s who expose the game by making rediculous builds where you can’t hit them and whatever trash they shoot at the net goes in. 1-button pressing for the Michigan is hot garbage, take that nonsense out. Chel coins are just a stupid currency that’s useless like a shoebox full of your old pogs from elementary school. Get rid of it and just unlock equipment/jerseys/music as you progress in the game. I have to take blood pressure medication now because of this game. Game crashes constantly, horribly long loading screens, get booted out of games for “poor team play” after scoring two goals?! Hip check is overpowered the right joystick are to shoot and hit so you’re destined to get interference calls. The exhaustion system is so bad, numerous attempts to dump the puck outta the zone and the puck feels like trying to clear out a medicine ball. The developers that put this “hockey game” together clearly have 2 glass eyes and don’t know what the F they’re doing. I wouldn’t give this game to my worst enemy because it’s THAT BAD and would not want to subject anyone to this cesspool of a “hockey game”. Dear EA, Do better. -Concerned Citizen PS bring back the coconuts goal song from NHL 19
