First time I watched it a few years ago I didn't love it. Yesterday I gave it a rewatch and I laughed the whole time. It was funny and charming and a lot of fun. All the horrible criticism is unfounded. They both stood their ground and gave very funny performances. And no Sofia doesnt have a shtick from modern family. The part was written for her in modern family to play as she is. Sofia is extremely funny, on top of her being insanely gorgeous. Sorry if her accent bothers you critics. It dows deserve a watch, I loved it very much.
