Hilariously bad. The gameplay and graphics are pure arcade-y cringe, and the menus are comically slow even on PS5. The new features are completely shallow and minor, and the core of the game is still the same assets from NHL 15, almost a decade ago. To make it worse, they added a new control scheme that lets you pass automatically without aiming, and lets you do the fanciest dekes by just pressing one button. Absolutely mind blown at how they could think that was a good idea. This is a children's aracde game
