BLOODY HORROR GOREFEST 🩸🍖 2013's evil dead was by far the best and it's very underrated. It's one of the best horror film I've seen. So Evil Dead Rise being it's sequel would excite every horror fan especially the one who have seen the previous film. With high hopes I bought the ticket and entered the hall. The first half passed very quickly and laid the foundation of the bloodshed and gore that would be coming later. The second half went on to unleash extreme killings, blood and mess. The jumpscares became ineffective due to the extreme gore being shown simultaneously. I can't remember a single moment in which I was scared. And I'm sure most people would be grossed out instead of being freightened seeing the scenes that are meant to be scary. To sum it up, this film let me down. Too much killings and bloodshed made it stale. Only positive thing about the entire 1hr 30mins is the acting and visual effects. The ending is also a cliffhanger and leads to nowhere. The story isn't too good either. If you want to see it then wait for it to release on a digital platform. Going to the theatre will disappoint you for sure.

I watched bawaal with low expectations but I was wrong, so wrong! It's another beautifully crafted gem of a film from the great director Nitish Tiwari. The story and direction is beautiful. The performances from the cast is amazing. Special mention should be given to Janhvi Kapoor's acting in this film, it was too good. Her performance is the essence of this film and the story more or less revolves around her as she plays a very important part. Varun's acting wasn't perfect but still pretty decent and the supporting actors did a fair enough job too. But what makes this film special is the way it is shown. A building romance is correlated with history and world war II and shows how we are trapped from the inside. It teaches a very essential lesson that we always focus on what we do not have or want to have and not appreciate what we already possess. The story goes on pretty hand in hand with the beautiful background music. The sceneries shown are beautiful and the reminiscence of the war is heartbreaking and deeply moving. This film is more than a romantic film and revolves around much larger issues of of life. Definitely a must watch. 4.5/5... Chef's kiss🤌🏽🫴🏽

4.5/5 stars to be honest. The 1st half felt a little bit slow but the 2nd half makes up for it and the climax (ending) has a special thrill build up which wasn't present in the previous films, so it was a special treat. What else would you expect from JW franchise except top tier action. Also the film concludes Mr. Wick's journey well and tbh we would've been bored with the same assassins and killings if further movies were made in this franchise (which was good from the 1st movie and remains good till the end). Though spin-offs like Ballerina are welcome. And I'm getting pretty excited to see what it brings. And always remember, these all started with a few rogues killing a dog and stealing a car.
