A fan of Liam and Meryl and the opening with Jude the sister was good - she was the best actor by far of the family members. Yep . . it was awful but I watched the entire movie even though it was horrible and I was using it to bring myself down . . into the misery . . Yuck.

That was Sally Struthers? Ugh. Except for Ted Danson the characters and the acting was just silly. The three sons and the dad living in San Francisco and Ted's wife had died and daughter encourages him to get a hobby and he ends up answering an ad in the newspaper for a 75-85 year old man who ends up going under cover in a senior care home that has a place called the neighborhood where you get shifted off to memory care. . . Stereotypes of relationships. Charles (aka Ted) says at one point it's like being in high school again. They drink a lot and smoke weed and they're lonely.

Music is odd. The family is very odd. The penguin and the bear. What's really odd is that I can't stop watching it. . .

Wooden acting. The same scenes over and over when Dr. Ryan (a woman) goes over the wounds, burns, etc. in a robotic voice. Then turns around and stands in front of a woman about to shoot a man who messed up her life. Realistic. Nope.

Just finished season two and I feel like I just ingested a bag of potato chips and now I feel sick. The acting is lame, the story line is lamer, stereotypes about well just about anything and everything. It's just bad. Assuming it has a Season 3 coming up because there were a string of "cliff hangers" at the end of season two. Hopefully I'll wise up and not tune in when it begins. Skip it. And of course here I am on Season 3. Something seriously wrong with me to continue to watch this drivel. A mediocre soap opera.

It was difficult to watch since I was married for 27 years to a man I had known since 2nd grade. It turned out that I didn't know him at all. I loved the realness of it . . they would hold hands and talk around stuff. . . I enjoyed all the characters - Jamie when he is confronted by Emily's dad and when he tells Nicola Walker (what was her name in the show?) that he's social normative - since I am a leader at work . . I do that all over .. this after just sobbing with the therapist. And she tells him he is morally bankrupt . .

Very odd. Was intrigued in the beginning but then it just kept on with Marty and Dr. Ike behaving increasingly bizarre. Ugh.

Brilliant. From start to finish.

Peculiar and not in a quirky good way. Kind of like popcorn I don't want to eat anymore but I can't stop . . .

Was taken aback at the end when I saw the critics and saw that Glenn Close was the grandma. Amy Adams, an actress, who always delivers. Ron Howard the director. Agree with the critics repetitive scenes of the a dysfunctional family with the climaxing scene of JD making it to his interview on time. The credits rolled with the all the good news. . Bev has been sober for 6 years and loves seeing her grandchildren. Felt like an Hallmark movie with a Hillbilly family. JD is the hero. . .
