🐅 A true wake up call, push mother nature long enough she will push back and annihilate you! ⚡️🌪🌬 🌊 🐯 Interesting read but click bait at its finest! Really it's more about the amazing Russian people and its history than it is about the hell bent for leather Rambo Tiger story it is leading you to think it is, I realised that The Tiger in the heading was actually referring to the crack team who call themselves The Tiger, Highly recommended read but this book is basically more about Russian History than about Tigers.. it's a sheep advertised in wolf clothing, or Tiger's clothing 🐯 P.S. You get the sense that John Vaillant just took a 40 page story and stretched it out in an unessercery 349+ page book to cash in on this extraordinary tale, that's fine but life is too short and I can't stand click bait. He very shrewdly scatters these 40 pages through the whole book so you won't just throw it away after reading about the Tiger story if he put it in the beggining, the story you came here for, I personally found that quite irritating while reading.. I didn't care too much for the Russian History lesson 🥱 It barely speaks about Rambo the Tiger and Tiger conservation in general for that matter, every ten or so pages he actually talks about the harrowing story but then veers off into history, Lenin and Stalingrad again or homoeroticising about big rugged Russian Syberian outdoorsman 🏋💪😠 Gonna read and return for refund.

...And Havoc Unit, Incredible cover / booklet artwork, but as for the music, it sounds like they couldn't shed Havoc Unit which was inferior to ...And Oceans I think the idea was to cross Havoc Unit with the amazing A.M.G.O.D era, but it just comes across way to harsh for its own good! which is a big problem with Metal music, in that if the musicality & production is not really there, it just ends up sounding like a big mess of incoherent noise! which is sadly the case here. I hate to write this because I have a lot of respect for ...And Oceans, they have created some very artistically interesting & mindful music, but a band should know when it's time to lay something to rest with dignity & honesty, think ( Lunar Aurora ) for a perfect example. And so, yet another mediocre over produced Black Metal album for the "new age"

I was really anticipating this release but honestly, I was not overly impressed with On Strange Loops, it has its moments though not so many, but when it does all come together, Mithras are able to write powerful and amazingly beautiful songs for you like 'The Statue On The Island' ( Track 3 ) On Strange Loops is somewhat closer to the more compacted third full length 'Behind The Shadows Lie Madness' which Is a more consistent release, yet which I was not really stunned by either. For me, and In my humble opinion, Mithras still haven't lived up to the extraordinary potential and talent which they awe inspiringly show you at times, and which they have shown the whole world on World's Beyond The Veil, which not a perfect album, still has all the magic & transcendental quality out of all the work by Mithras, and something very special is on that amazing & inspirational work which I think has not been truly captured since. Yet another arrogant work of easy street practical atheism to throw upon the pile!. Very Interesting, but ridiculously overrated!, tries to mock Schopenhauer and thinks that he understood Kierkegaard!, but you can forgive one for such a bitter, bleak and gloomy outlook on existence judging by such dire, apocalyptic and humiliating circumstances which France and the world were facing in 1942. I usually grow suspicious with universal acclimation and this is no different. Thought provoking, but even more boring than the eternally overrated Nietzsche is.

Why hast thou forsaken us? The fact that this problem is as rampant as ever and has even evolved to the internet quite frankly shows that many of the points about this complicated and tragic form of child abuse is not being addressed at all, avoidance, cowardice, ignorance and indifference being key problems. I make such judgments about people because I too am a victim of bullying which started from home lasting all the way through first and secondary school, It really is a miracle that I am not one of the stories contained within powerful wake up call books like 'Bullycide - DEATH AT PLAYTIME' or another suicide, and after all these years I wonder where the strength which carried me through to where I am now comes from, everyday I am still fighting for my life in Hell! The result and consequence of not helping a vulnerable and fragile child when they need it is someone like me, a humiliated unwanted member of society, a damaged 35 year old adult male, no wife no children no girlfriend ..never even had any friends, socially dead in other words which is just like being murdered, unable to communicate or form any kind of healthy human relationships, I have never been able to work and have always been forced to live on benefits my whole life. Death is certain for us all and there are no true guarantees for this complicated thing we call "life" even if you are an ideal, fully functioning "perfect" member of society, but sometimes all the difference can be made by just looking within to find your humanity and just care for another Human being, that they might have a chance to choose to find their life, just to care can be what makes the difference between life, death or worse, living death. What a terrible game, and clichedly typical of another wasted opportunity at a film franchise / computer game. Wish that they ported games like Zoo Tycoon or Fallout onto the PS2 after the PS1's Bullfrog & sim strategy glory days, Do yourself a favour, go turn on your disc and graphic enhancer on your PS2 and play X-Com Enemy Unknown / Terror From The Deep, Command And Conquer, Theme Hospital or Constructor instead.

A bit overrated I think, & along with Goethe's Faust, very dated if you exist in today's super desensitised, super decadent, super hedonistic etc civilisation & world, P.S For a much more amazing experience, I really recommend to look through The Doré Illustrations for Dante's Divine Comedy while you read this classical work.
