Let me start out by saying, I don’t do reviews. I’ve never done a review in my life until this moment.
It’s 3am on a Friday and I’ve finished the last pages of this book. If you are living a life full of anger, read this book. If you have resentment towards people, read this book. If you have deep wounds of hurt by other people, read this book. If you don’t know how to forgive, or where to start, READ this book.
The first chapter, I found myself reading at a park under a shady tree. Tears started to flow towards the end of it. Sad tears, not the good kind you would do at a wedding or your kids graduation. In the first 10 pages I had the biggest wake up call of my life.
Everything in between gave me an epiphany.
The last chapter, concluded everything I needed to know. I took the biggest inhale & exhale of breath in my life. Joyous tears streamed like a waterfall down my cheek. Everything I’ve been needing to acknowledge was in this book.
Lysa Turkeurst, thank you for letting me sit at the grey table my friend.
