This movie was bad. There were four deaths and they didn’t come near as scary or gruesome as what were used to in the previous movies, with the exception to the first opening kill. The storyline was okay I guess but they plot twist was too easy to guess which took away the sense of mystery, which is what made all the previous movies so good. Another note is that all the other previous movies are linked to one another by a storyline where as this movie has no correlation to the previous movies becuase it was just a jigsaw copy cat. Where as it should have at least shown the killer from the seventh movie in some way shape or form. Very poor movie overall. the casting for Chris rock and Samuel L Jackson was a great choice. On a good note tho the movie kept me intrigued which the previous movie didn’t. It was an enjoyable movie but it didn’t feel like a saw movie and I was expecting more. It feels like the saw creators are making an unnecessary movie for a pay check and in the process potentially ruining an already great series. This is what happened to fast and furious and now everyone rolls their eyes when they see a new trailer. I hope in the next movie they bring the killer in jigsaw and the killer in spiral together or at least make them movies relate together more so that it doesn’t seem like such a waste of a potential good movie
