Thanks for the lecture, Ms. Kingsolver, but I really didn’t need it (or want it). Are we to draw parallels between the literally blissfully ignorant Christians and Darwin deniers of the 19th century, and the desperate, health-care-and-homeless climate deniers of the 20th? How unkind of you to bludgeon us with your arrogant and shallow revelations. Can you tell I disliked this book intensely? Could you possibly have packed one more cliche into your falling down houses?
