Great movie, great art style! The humor is immature humor for teenagers, which is the target demographic for this movie. It's a fresh breath of air for the voice actors who are voicing actual teenagers to sound like actual teenagers. The action was great, the movie was fun and silly. The villains are very one-dimensional and cartoonishly evil, but that's not a bad thing for this kind of movie. Very authentic movie for teenagers to enjoy!

It was a fun movie, definitely entertaining. But the messages were lackluster. It was a very girls vs boys movie. With Barbieland being the the inverse of the patrichary in the real world, with women cartoonishly dominating all sectors of life in Barbieland. Literally all sectors, Kens are just accessories. The movie continues with the main Barbie finding out the real-world is so different from her own. The main Ken discovers patriarchy and replicates it in Barbieland. Then he forces a power shift from one gender to another. The movie decided to focus on comedy and exaggerating gender dynamics rather than helping Barbies and Kens become equal. The Barbies end up taking back Barbieland and remain in power when Kens are resigned to still be props. The movie was just a lot of poking fun at gender dynamics but kept maintaining a divisive girls vs boys attitude.

It was an interesting movie. I wouldn't say it was really good or bad. It was very drawn-out, it's like 3 hours long. There were plenty of unnecessary scenes that could have been cut and the movie would have been the same. That being said, the movie doesn't feel like a movie plot-wise. There is no beginning, climax, or resolution really. The movie just follows Oppenheimer's life over several years. It feels like a regular person's life.
