Idk why, but it’s like my mom was anti Disney when I was growing up, or just cheap, so I watched A TON of Don Bluth movies, and rando other made for TV movies like Babes in Toyland with Keanu Reeves.. but, i digress.... It’s an amazing underrated classic. The storyline was so engaging then, and still is at age 30 (yes I’ve seen other movies, promise this ones pretty great) and the animation is truly something special and different. Highly suggested if you’ve run through all your other VHS tapes, or just like great stories about children’s ability to let their imaginations take them to fantastic and magical places, with real life lessons and consequences.
