Clair character is almost too Much to continue watching. The actress looks much older than jaime, I didnt read the books, i find her incredibly selfish, & rude . The character doesnt seem to " live and learn" She continues to do what she wants regardless of jaime's warnings ( leaving the safe area on the ship in storm, going after the donkey ect....) I feel for Frank, she used him. I get that it's a fantasy romantic drama love story but come on....jaime lives in a brothel and NEVER is with any women??!!- after 20 years?!! Way too farfetched. I had satisfaction when Frank's girlfriend said her peace to her at his tribute. I would've liked to see her put in her place a bit more and maybe by jaime at times..... a wee bit of strife would be satisfying in this story. She has him by the balls. Always calling the shots and always right. And he is merely like "yes darling " where is our Scottish warrior? Why must she speak for him , as if she's his mother, which back then makes him look weak. His character seems to have taken a step down as claire is now running the show ( unfortunately) I fast forward through most of her rambling parts.

Best elvis portrayal to date. Austin butler is brilliant. Made the movie! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I didn't like the story told through the colonel. Focused mostly on his career path which I liked rather than delve into his marriage/ relationships

Long, slow and boring. The talent of DiCaprio and Pitt made me stay to finish the movie . 5/10.
