Entertaining. Long running. Predictable. Lacking in fresh, creative ideas, seems like another recycled western except with an expensive cast... shot on inexpensive sets... and average "movie of the week" directing... for what purpose? The whole production is too heavy with Costner's creative energy... and as a Costner fan... painful to watch at times. I love Costner in Rom-Coms and baseball, his westerns have always fell short for me. Horizon is not 1883 or 1920, Taylor Sheridan is a much better Western story teller, in my opinion.
