If I hadn’t seen any of the Alien source material outings it borrows heavily from I might of enjoyed it more . On the plus side it’s taught well photographed and a decent horror film but original it is not . It’s better than 3 and resurrection but it’s constant rehashing of moments from the previous films gives it a major “wanna be “vibe . There are some scenes that were really well done but the predictable plot and ending seriously ruin the movie for me . Again if it’s your first alien outing and your spider squeamish this might terrify you but the lack of originality and poor character development left me yawning.
