Great author, fun books. He's an officer from officer's training school as well as an NCO (at least that's what it looks like). Mr. Partlow has a great grasp of what is possible along with he currently knows.
Partlow handles different fictional characters along with great critical thinking and writing. He seems to be stuck in a version of Los Angeles from 1980 rather than current LA, including a lot of cliche's, but that's really not a significant portion of Parlow's writing.
