Love this show! My husband and I waited with bated breath to watch every new episode on Disney Plus and we recommended it to our friends & family, even those who weren't quite into Star Wars. It's somewhat refreshing to see new storylines and explore a planet and culture initially untouched by Jedi, Sith, etc. This darker, mature version of Star Wars without the cringey Sith Lord speeches got me excited to keep up with the show, and the complexity of the characters really drew me in. I knew I couldn't watch this while doing something else. Without spoiling the show, it makes you take the individual characters' points of view to understand their intentions. I'd like to personally thank Leslye Headland for reigniting the love I have for Star Wars that waned with the latest trilogy's shift in focus, and bravo to Amandla, Manny, Jodie, Lee Jung-jae, and the rest of the wonderful cast of The Acolyte! It was amazing while it lasted. I'm upset there won't be a Season 2, but I'm looking forward to more stories like The Acolyte. If there would be a novel or something that continues the story, I would no doubt read it as soon as I can get my hands on it.
