The film is distinctively a Tim Burton film. It’s entertaining and very well cast.Monica Bellucci is wonderful in the role of a villain. The downside is that the film is a slow burn, which weighs heavily on the fun factor. However, it does pickup halfway through the film. If you’ve seen the first Beetlejuice, it is easy to follow the plot. The film talks about trauma and makes an argument for living in the present rather than the past.

Brave and bold. This is perhaps one of the most powerful storytelling in recent cinema. Sound of Freedom exposes the world of human trafficking and paedophilia, which is said to be the fastest and most lucrative industry in modern day. This film is based on the true story of two very young children who fell victims to human trafficking. Taken into the hands of paedophiles and exploited as sex slaves and for porn, this story is just one out of thousands of cases or perhaps even more. It exposes the harsh reality of the immense market demand that exists for sex with children. Unlike drugs, these children can be recycled over and over again especially if groomed from an early age. Enjoy the superhero movie, but open your eyes to watch Sound of Freedom. It's worth your time.

This highly anticipated film is one that audiences will either love or hate. The story is about human extinction. The plot is to prevent Artificial Intelligence from destroying all human life in the West. Somehow the battle becomes a war between the West and Asia. Unfortunately, the film's argument is unclear. This makes it very hard to understand what the film is trying to convey. Additionally the battle scenes are very heavy handed and the special effects are quite comical. In an effort to make the text familiar to audiences, the film has intertextuality with Star Wars, Children of Men, and King Kong. Alike the former, The Creator is about conflict, which is attune with genre of Sci-fi. In sum, this film comes across as unfinished and disjointed. It's definitely a love or hate movie.
