This movie was quite uninteresting (to me at least), the adaptation WAS NOT as beautifully portrayed as the book.
Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively are talented actors but sadly Blake was far from the "Lily" we had in mind and even her acting was not as convincing as other roles she played in previous movies. I loved that Baldoni managed to show the anger within "Ryle Kincaid" and the bitterness he felt after killing his brother unwillingly, in addition to the moments he would just flip out hence abusing "Lily" domestically. As for Brandon Sklenar, playing "Atlas" was a challenge as there were moments during the movie which were a hit and others were a miss but I was certainly not waiting for the COLD way he blurted out the famous line from the book after meeting lily and saying "In the future... if by some miracle you ever find yourself in the position to fall in love again... fall in love with me" what can I say? It felt like he was just reading from a script... No emotions at all, he definitely missed and messed it up.
I was so disappointed to say the least, there were so many details that were missed or omitted for whatever reason they saw fit, but those details were the essence of the book.
All in all, the version I have in mind from the book is still way better than the adaptation.
