This movie was forgettable and not worth paying box office prices for. As good actress as Brie Larson is, she is definitely NOT captain marvel. She cannot honor captain marvel's looks nor can she get close to depicting captain marvel's personality as described in the comics. They trying to cram everything in. They made the law enforcement and the government look stupid and was even void in 90% of when they should have been present. The enemies go and search for her only to run away. They tried to be funny with very subtle and dry humor. They made Fury look like a fool. Even though this was set before all the movies, he still had a coolness factor as described in the comics. And worst of all, i was able to predict every event, not because I read it, but because it was all cliche. If you watch the first 5 minutes of the movie and the last 3 minutes the you've seen the entire film.

A fairytale start with a disappointing end. I loved Maleficent from start to end and is the most beautiful role for Angelina Jolie. I love her and love how she can be so perfect for her role. Amazing actress but the writer messed this sequel up for her. The main story is Maleficent. She was deemed a villain since the Sleeping Beauty. This story gave her heart and made us appreciate her role in the fairytale. Unfortunately, Disney destroyed her villainous essence and turned her into another disney princess. Her kind was massacred yet there was no yelling, no angst, no despair, no villainy, and no sympathy for what she protected her whole life. Instead, there was a happy wedding same day of a 'war' in front of fully uninjured humankind next to the remains and leftover fae-kind. The queen of war happily becomes the eater of grass. And all is well. Round of applause for Disney and I can't wait to see how you will do the same for Star Wars.
