If you’re going to start a new show this year, might I recommend this one? It has a wide appeal, regardless of your gender, sexual preference, age, size, ability, race, or nationality. It’s ostensibly about pirates (based loosely on the real life relationship between Blackbeard and Gentleman Pirate, Stede Bonnet), but the focus is on the two middle aged male leads, both going through midlife crises, who find both love and themselves along the way. There’s plenty of well rounded characters to get your teeth into, as well as fun, laughter, and drama. A show that once you finish watching you’ll go back and start all over again.
Our Flag Means Death is a guaranteed classic, which deserves its third and final season.
