Jug Jug Jiyo should have had a different title Maybe bandhan todo ya jodo or janam janam ka saath..😅😅 It is very dark and serious as it starts with a bitter and frustrated Varun Dhawan in Canada shown leading a disinterested life with an aloof and distracted Kiara Advani He comes back to his ebullient self once back in Patiala in India Meandering thru many situations .. hilarious .. sad and at times predictable.. he is shown on the verge of his marriage breaking.. ironically it’s his parents breaking marriage that makes him see the essence of his own marriage and how to salvage it.. by looking for his partner’s happiness instead of hankering after his own.. Varun dhawan .. I found innocent.. acted with feeling and very natural Kiara looks amazing but emotional content in her acting is missing Anil Kapoor acts well as usual and though he is in a fickle character.. his acting strength shines Neeti Kapoor is good in a few scenes where she outpours the journey of her life and lends support to Kiara.. her daughter in law Dialogues are unnecessarily offensive .. in a few scenes .. over the top.. Karan Johar’s influence shows.. All in all.. interesting movie with real life situations How the other woman in Anil Kapoor’s life let’s him go easily is a bit unrealistic though after instigating a big storm for Anil Kapoor Certain relations are not fully explored and explained Basically it’s about Varun reconciling with his wife Kiara as true love triumphs somehow whether for his father or him👍
