ST 79 (Shadowtrooper79)

Short: It won't scare you like COVID did. However, if you like stories about a plague of the blood sucking undead, you might enjoy this film. Long: I decided to watch this because I read it had tested well with audiences. I can understand why critics/fans of the novel, or the original movie might be miffed. Yes, some of the acting is suspect. No. It is not a perfect adaptation. That being said, this is not a terrible movie, as some would lead you to believe. I found myself lights out, late at night, watching this film, sometimes from behind my couch pillow, INVESTED. Hoping and rooting for certain characters to survive a small town's growing hoard of vampires. Having fun and reflecting on just how much I enjoy the vampire genre.
