The setting in Italy was beautiful of course, and the lightweight plot had spontaneity, tacky humour and adventure.But the script was contrived and predictable, the female characters dithery, unnatural, naive and syrupy. Disappointed to see female actors of advanced years cast this way, while the men were cool, calm and logical heroes. Ugh.
