Arnis Burvikovs

I had high hopes for this series. However , I found it to be very slow moving and an unrelenting exploration of grimness and anguish. Hard to watch, harder yet to like.

The book was strong- violent and somewhat far-fetched, but interesting and tightly plotted. The TV series started well but bogged down in weird mommy/daddy issues. Bridges and Lithgow could not overcome the TV writers.
