SAO has been My favorite since I started watching anime and thats been about I would have to say about 10 years I love the story progression along with the characters progression ,the way the artwork gets so much better as time goes on, and the games are also amazing. My two favorite characters in the entire series is one Kirito or Kazuto the way he went from this depressing kid at the beginning of aincrad to a hero at the end of aincrad and my other favorite character is Yukki yeah she's dead and all but shes awesome from her sword skills to her backstory and character is completely sad i wasn't expecting her sickness because of the way she was and it caught me off guard completely.
