Being a huge Hostel fan,( 1 & 2 anyway), this movie really pulled me in. Even creepy Pervy Winston was good for a laugh. Never been a big fan of drinking water and defs not now after seeing this. But I love gore, and Eli Roth really nailed it with this one. Great to see him in a small role in this flick. He’s the man.

Absolutely love this movie. Can’t say I’d be walking in Central Park at night or any where in NY. But vengeance is sweet and Jodie Foster nailed it. I kinda think I’d do the same if my beloved was beaten to death.

Not the way I’d want to die though. A bite from a male funnel-web spider is looking pretty good in comparison. At least there’s an anti-venom. Having said that, I’ve gone through all my shark movies this weekend , and the worst by far was Jaws 3 the revenge. So this movie despite some negative reviews wasn’t that bad.

Absolutely love this film. From the opening theme by Trevor Jones and the whole soundtrack. Anything with Pacino is the go for me and Ellen Barkin is great in this film. They’re both Tauruses which I love. My hubby is a Taurus. ♉️ I’m Aquarius. Oops 😬 But enough of that. It’s a top movie and one that I watch when I’m on a Pacino binge. So many great thrillers came out of the late eighties to nineties.

I love both Sharon Stone and Richard Gere. But I did not like this movie much. It lacked depth and substance. Davidovich played as the typical passive aggressive wronged “other woman”. Guess a three ringed relationship is not for the faint hearted

Absolutely loved them all. My favourites were the first three that were made. From Carl Williams, Tale of two cities and the Golden Mile. The Razor underbelly was ok but not as good as the others. Waiting to see The Vanishing Act.

Not bad for a remake. I found Dylan Walsh to be suitably creepy in the stepfather role. As far as the rest of the cast, a bit blah. The original with Terry O Quinn is still the best though.

I gave this film five stars for the sheer creepiness. Christopher Walken never fails to disappoint in his talent for darker roles, and Helen Mirren’s role as his masochistic wife was a seriously strange. The two main characters, played by Everett and Richardson were a little odd. I thought the couple were grossly mismatched, and not too bright either. After their first encounter with Roberto and his creepy wife they should’ve run for their lives and got the next plane back to the UK. While I was watching the film, and after Roberto punched Colin in the stomach, I was thinking” Punch him back,” grab your missus and get the hell out of there “ I did like the film but it was one of the more disturbing ones I’ve ever seen.
