spoiler warning - Willow was a beloved and unique story to come out an era that was begging for something fresh. This series adaptation was worth watching for nostalgia's sake because honestly it just feels good to see Warwick Davis on screen not obscured by some crazy costume he's a sci fi/fantasy legend.. with that being said there are hard to look past issues. Like many people stated the dialogue is an issue. The plot is also rushed. Trope's, trope's, trope's, abound. I dont want to marry a prince, hot prince " I like your buns", twinsies, but mom, Empress is a pauper, magic girl cant find magic unless she believes in herself, ope someone's jelly, I can take care of myself, I let you win, I am a fraud, ect.. I personally am pleased to see lgbtq+ represented that is cool.. non issue.. nobody should have an issue with that, it's not actually medieval times. The exaggerated plot line written in hopes that Val Kilmer will make enough of a recovery to cameo. - pls get well Val for you and to give them this pay off otherwise it just doesn't work. The young lady playing willows daughter was a good choice. Overall I enjoyed 55% of it.. that is enough to keep watching.
