Wow! What a nightmare it would be to see the theme of this awesomely-acted movie (no spoiler alert for those who haven’t seen it yet) play out in real life.
Talk about touching on a topic for discussion that would change the world as we know it. As demonstrated in the raw, surface exchanges between people who don’t know one another, realizing a common denominator reason to get along together….and in seeing as how they’re all each other has to count on going forward, it saddened my heart to watch how trivial they were in the face of such an unimaginable plight.
It’s been a looooog time since I watched a movie that made me chuckle, cry and cringe with fear, all while watching what I know wasn’t just a great script, but a highly plausible possibility. Bravo to the Writers in their brilliance of depicting the core of our human nature when forced to recognize the painful truth of a situation that’s completely beyond our control.
The Casting of each role played in this movie was spot on, although I never, ever knew Julia Roberts could go from being such a “Pretty Woman” to such an Ugly being!
See this movie and then I’d ask you to ask yourself, “which character do you see yourself as”? Then, I’d strongly suggest your working on correcting yourself….unless you want to find yourself all alone if something like this did happen.
