The fact that he states an affair is simply a “symptom” of a bad marriage is ridiculous. There are plenty of bad marriages without an affair taking place. It’s almost a copout for the person who had the affair — ‘I had an affair because my marriage is bad’ . It puts some of the blame on the spouse who didn’t have the affair, which is a complete joke. The spouse who did not have the affair should not be blamed for any of it!
