The Long Shadow is in serious need of editing, it is way too long. By the end, I was sick of how badly all the women were treated. Whether they died, were the mothers, daughters, wives, police employees - all were treated like dirt. And the men were so arrogant, save for Toby Jones who left a void when his character was no longer in the series. At the end, I was expecting to see pictures of all the women who died, but instead, they focused on....A MAN. The writers, producers and directors completely missed the point. But again, they were all men.
