To me personally, the film felt too rushed. It had a story line that I was able to figure out pretty quickly. The characters and story felt too quick. The connections between the characters felt forced.
Constantly during the film I was asking. How did that happen? How did he get there? How did he do that? That seems kinda quick to do. Is he a king? Or a farmer? If he's a king, where is his kingdom? That seems a little too easy? How did they not hear this happening, or see that happening? All stuff like that. I shouldn't have to ask so may questions about a movie.
It was a very basic story plot, that we have all seen before. With character that are rushed, and plot twists that are easy to see coming. I never felt like I wanted to know what happened next. I wasn't curious to see how the scene would end. I was just kinda there in the moment just wondering when it would end.
The action was fun to watch but I never felt like the main character was in any real danger. The fights felt too slow and choreographed. There was just too many small things that held this movie back from being a great movie. I think if this movie was 3 hours or longer, it would have been better. More time on character development, and choreograph.
It was just rushed too much. One second it was day time, another time it was night, one second we are here, and another second we are there.
IT WAS JUST TOO RUSHED.
